Question:
Do you find that putting your hair in a braid every night changes its texture by the end of the week?
Answer:
You are right that putting our hair up at night changes its texture as the week goes on. I find that it does flatten our hair more and more as the week goes on.
That's why I recommend refreshing every morning. If you feel your hair is getting too flat, you can add more water and more conditioner to your hair at the end of the week to help fluff it back up.
In my fuzziest or flattest spots my hair can be almost wet with water and conditioner by the time I'm through. But if I'm wanting flatter hair, I only add a little tiny bit of water and conditioner, just to perk up my hair.
But if I'm going to be wearing my hair back, like in a braid, or french roll or something, I really only smooth the parts of my hair that will be showing.
So really, how much you add is up to you, and what you are wanting your hair to do that day.
