Here are some of the questions I get asked the most, and what my answers have been. This way you can get your answers immediately, without having to wait on me. And you never know, you might find answers to a few questions you didn't even know you had yet.

Question:
Do you use any other products in your hair, such as hair dressing, deep conditioners, gel, or leave-in products?
Answer:
The only thing I leave in my hair is a good combing conditioner. This actually does everything I need it to do. It moisturizes my hair without being greasy. It keeps my curls clumped together without being sticky or crunchy. And it gives my hair much needed weight.

Back in my chemical days I was a huge product junkie, going from product to product in search of the one that would "cure" my hair. Now I know it was how I was handling my hair that was the problem, and there is no such thing as a miracle product. The best thing a product can do is make it easier for you to care for your hair.

If your hair is healthy, it doesn't need anything other than a good conditioner that has good ingredients (it's moisturizing without being greasy, sticky, or stiff). Occasionally I'll put a little olive oil or coconut oil on the ends of my hair, or put a little olive oil in a combing conditioner for extra conditioning.
