Here are some of the questions I get asked the most, and what my answers have been. This way you can get your answers immediately, without having to wait on me. And you never know, you might find answers to a few questions you didn't even know you had yet.

*This is still a work in progress. I'm continuing to add many more questions, and we are still ironing out a few quirks. But we wanted to make this available as soon as possible.

There are several ways to choose the question(s) you'd like answered:

Question:
How long does it take your hair to dry after washing and combing?
Answer:
I usually wash/condition/comb/set my curls pretty early in the day on a Sunday (usually), and go about my business while it dries. It takes anywhere from six to ten hours, depending on the weather for my hair to totally dry. Sometimes even longer if it's really cold and damp.

I try to wait for it to be completely dry before I braid it up at night. In a pinch, if there is no time for my hair to dry before it's time to go to bed, however, I will braid up my damp hair. In the morning I undo my braid, re-wet any spots that got smashed and flattened over night, and let my hair continue to dry through the rest of the day.
