Here are some of the questions I get asked the most, and what my answers have been. This way you can get your answers immediately, without having to wait on me. And you never know, you might find answers to a few questions you didn't even know you had yet.

*This is still a work in progress. I'm continuing to add many more questions, and we are still ironing out a few quirks. But we wanted to make this available as soon as possible.

There are several ways to choose the question(s) you'd like answered:

Question:
How often do you wash and comb your hair?
Answer:
I wash and comb my hair once a week. I could probably do it about every four days and it would still be okay. I did try for a while to keep up with washing and combing that often, but that day often fell on a week day, and I wouldn't get home in time, or I'd forget. My hair seems really happy with once a week.

The other days I just smooth a little water and a little conditioner over it to smooth frizz and refresh curls that get a little mashed while I sleep. I could wash as often as every 4 days and my hair would still be fine, but I'm kind of lazy, and every seven days works just as well, plus less wear and tear on my hair.

I usually wash/condition/comb/set my curls pretty early in the day on a Sunday (usually), and go about my business while it dries. It takes anywhere from four to eight hours, depending on the weather.
