Here are some of the questions I get asked the most, and what my answers have been. This way you can get your answers immediately, without having to wait on me. And you never know, you might find answers to a few questions you didn't even know you had yet.

There are several ways to choose the question(s) you'd like answered:

Question:
I noticed you said you shampoo your hair. Couldn't I just use the no-shampoo routine instead?
Answer:
Absolutely! I think the no-poo (or co-wash) routines are great. The only reason I use shampoo is because I have really oily skin, and I tend to break out if I don't use shampoo (my skin is so oily that if I put on eyeshadow, it's reduced to a colored crease on my lid within about twenty minutes).

Actually, I use a sort of version of no-poo. I only put shampoo on my scalp. I don't let it touch any of the rest of my hair. This way I shampoo only my scalp. Then, on the rest of my hair, I use a rinsing conditioner to help gently cleanse it.

It's often said that shampoo should be chosen for the scalp, and conditioner chosen for your hair. I've found this to be a great guideline.
