I use a product you don't recommend on the site
Answer:
To be honest, the bottom line with products is to find what works best for you. If something makes you and your hair happy, then that's what you should go with. What is important for me in a product might not be what's important to you in one. I put out my suggestions on the site for people who are totally lost, and have no idea where to even begin with products for their hair. But you are already ahead of the game because you've found something that works for you.
