Question:
I'm not (black and white) biracial. Will the information and tips work for me?
Answer:
If you have curls, this information will work for you.
I started out calling this site "Biracial Hair" because that's the kind of hair I happen to have , and I never wanted to act like I knew how to take care of every one's curls, just ones like mine. However, since I have lots of curl types all over my head (ranging from straw-sized to bigger curls), the suggestions actually do help with lots of curls. My mom is black, and my hair and her hair have the same sized curls, actually, and my techniques work for her too. My Dad's wife is white, and has rather curly hair, and these techniques work for her also.
I have very thick, really tightly curly hair, but each individual strand is very fine and delicate. I also have lots of textures and different sizes of curls all over my head, so there is a very good chance I have curls that are just like yours.
Also, many of the gorgeous women on the Before and Afters page are not mixed, and you can see how stunning all their hair looks after trying these techniques.
