Question:
I'm not black or mixed. I'm white (or latina), but my hair is really curly. Will this work for me?
Answer:
So long as you have very curly hair, yes, absolutely these techniques will work for you.

A longer answer than you probably wanted: I tend to show more pictures of people who are mixed or black because, well, I'm mixed, and this is what I learned to make my hair happy, and often black people have the kind of tight curls this technique is for. And I've noticed that for many people not of color, when they say "super curly, kinky, frizzy hair", it tend to be slightly curly, or wavy. And that kind of hair would be totally flattened by these techniques. So if you have really curly hair like my kind of curly, or the pictures of the lovely women you see on the site, then these techniques will work on your curls too. For proof, here are two pictures of my dad's wife Meredith (who is white), showing her hair after using these techniques for several years:
