Question:
Is It Okay To Wet My Hair Everyday?
Answer:
It's true that to totally wet your hair every day, especially without putting anything else in your hair can be drying. So I don't recommend totally soaking your hair every day.

However, the techniques I talk about on the Curly Primer are okay. This is because, for one thing, you aren't totally wetting your hair so it's dripping wet. I suggest getting it slightly damp with a bit of water and conditioner in the morning by wetting your hands, adding about a dime-size drop of conditioner, and smoothing it over your hair. You can repeat as necessary to get your curls to spring back, or to cut down on frizzies. Doing it in little stages like this keeps it from getting too wet.

Also, since you're putting conditioner in your hair as it gets damp, will keep your curls nicely defined and moisturized. If slightly dampening my hair every morning were damaging to hair, I would not have been able to grow my fragile curls down to my hips.
