Here are some of the questions I get asked the most, and what my answers have been. This way you can get your answers immediately, without having to wait on me. And you never know, you might find answers to a few questions you didn't even know you had yet.

*This is still a work in progress. I'm continuing to add many more questions, and we are still ironing out a few quirks. But we wanted to make this available as soon as possible.

There are several ways to choose the question(s) you'd like answered:

Question:
What should I do about my scalp itching?
Answer:
Here are some of the different causes I can think of that may cause itching:

*One thing may simply be that your scalp is dry. If you are using a harsh shampoo, or washing every day, that can cause itching.

*If you are itching from the conditioner being left in,you could try not to place any conditioner near your scalp. Start a few inches before your scalp.

*Another thing that may cause it is that you might have sensitive skin, and often fragrances (even essential oils) and colors can really irritate sensitive skin, causing it to itch or even break out in a rash. If this is the case, I would only use products that have no fragrances in them. This is easier said than done, however. Some products may say they are unscented, but what they have done is used one fragrance to mask other fragrances in it. Also, some products say they are hypoallergenic or fragrance free, but may still have some essential oils (which can be very irritating).

Just as an FYI, some of the more irritating essential oils are any citrus, menthol, eucalyptus, mint, and geranium.

A few suggestions are: Paula's Choice shampoo and her conditioner (at CosmeticsCop.com). She doesn't have fragrances or colors in her products.

Jason has some fragrance free shampoos (they still have a few essential oils in them, but they are pretty mild).

Naturelle has a hypo allergenic shampoo and conditioner that seem pretty good.

This list is in no way exhaustive, and I'm always looking for more products to add, but at least this is a start.
