Here are some of the questions I get asked the most, and what my answers have been. This way you can get your answers immediately, without having to wait on me. And you never know, you might find answers to a few questions you didn't even know you had yet.

*This is still a work in progress. I'm continuing to add many more questions, and we are still ironing out a few quirks. But we wanted to make this available as soon as possible.

There are several ways to choose the question(s) you'd like answered:

Question:
What should I do with my hair in between washings?
Answer:
It's best to braid your hair up at night in as many braids as needed. Then, to refresh your hair in the morning, undo your braids. Wet your hands, then take about a quarter size of a good combing conditioner on your palm, and rub your hands together. Smooth your hands over your hair, concentrating on any fuzzy areas.

I usually do this once over my hairline because it gets really fuzzy when I sleep. Never comb, brush, or finger comb your hair at this time. Then you can add another splop of conditioner, add a bit of water, and smooth this over the ends of your curls. This will help refresh them.

When I take out my braid in the morning, it looks like my curls are flattened. But after smoothing a bit of water and combing conditioner on them, they curl right back up. Repeat this over any fuzzy parts until they are smooth. If you are twirling your curls for cute spirals, wet your hands, apply conditioner, and twirl any spirals that got smashed or fuzzy (still, it's best not to comb, brush, pick, or finger comb).
